Jr. Dragsters will be broken up into two classes by E.T..
7.90 to 8.99 & 9.00 and slower
9.00 and slower
The 9.00 and slower Jr. Dragster class was created for beginners to get some runs with similar competition before running with more advanced racers.
7.90 to 8.99
The 7.90 to 8.99 Jr. Dragster class is for more advanced racers.
2010 Jr. Dragster Rules
1. 9.00 and slower racers will be called to the lanes seperate from the 7.90 to 8.99 racers for the first 3 rounds of competition.
2. 9.00 and slower will be ran together each of the first 3 rounds. If there is an odd number of 9.00 and slower cars the last 9.00 and slower car will have run a quicker car that round.
3. After the 3rd round of eliminations all remaining Jr. Dragsters will be called to the lanes together.
4. If a 9.00 and slower car has the bye the 9.00 and slower cars will be called to the lanes last. If a 7.90 to 8.99 car has the bye they will be called last.
*** Points will be kept for all Jrs in the points and are eligible for IHRA bracket finals. ***
