ALL ELK CREEK DRAGWAY SAFETY AND GENERAL OPERATION
RULES APPLY IN ADDITION TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Any Full Bodied, Rear Wheel Drive Car or Truck with 7.99 or Quicker
E.T. in 1/8 mile. VW are welcome.
2. Any Manually Shifted Transmission (Lencos are PERMITTED) working the clutch
off the line with your foot.
3. The operation of the clutch shall be a direct action of the driver's foot. No device
shall be allowed which interrupts, delays or otherwise alters this action.
4. NO PEDAL MAGNETS, NO AIR RELEASE SYSTEMS, NO HYDRAULIC CLUTCH
LINE LOCK SYSTEMS.
5. NO CLUTCH ACTIVATED AUTOMATICS (Clutch Turbo) OR BRUNO'S ALLOWED
ALLOWED 6. All gear changes must be a result from direct action from the driver. Pneumatics,
hydraulics or electric shifters are prohibited.
7. No Delay Boxes or E.T. Killing Devices
8. Purse Structure: 100% payback of entry fees split 50% to win, 30% runner up, 10% to semis. If entry count is more than 17 cars ECD will add money to the purse based on car count.

Minimum Required Safety Equipment:
1. Front & Rear Drive Shaft Loops
2. Blow proof Bellhousing (SFI Approved)
3. Helmet (Snell 85 or newer)
4. Harmonic Balancer Meeting SFI Spec. 18.1
IHRA safety rules pertaining to safety requirements in bracket type care will
be followed according to your ET
